Dr Chris Ryder BIOChris Ryder is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of English Language and Applied Linguistics, University of Reading, where he recently completed his PhD studies. EXPERIENCEChris has previously worked on a number of projects on behalf of multinational companies, examining the role of language in the marketing and communication of specific products to the public. His other research interests include forensic linguistics, derivational morphology, artificial languages and humour.
