BIO

Blain is a post-doctoral fellow working at the institute of Global Food Security at Queen’s University Belfast. His passions are science communication, improving trust in food and playing Dodgeball.

EXPERIENCE

Blain has a BSc in Psychology from Queen’s University Belfast, a MSc in Clinical psychology from Ulster University and a PhD in health psychology and cancer from Queen’s University Belfast. His research has been presented at international conferences and was awarded a prestigious training place at the National Institute of Health in 2017. His work has revolved around gaining insight to under-researched topics in psycho-oncology, food trust and science communication.
