Miha is a co-founder of BetterOrigin, a start-up tackling food waste through insect biomass conversion. He's an avid cook and adores all things food. He is the first (and only) person that tastes all the food and feed formulations developed by Entomics.
Miha was born in Slovenia, and moved to Cambridge in 2012 to pursue a degree in natural sciences. During his Masters’ year, he founded BetterOrigin with fellow students Matt & Fotis, with an overarching goal of contributing towards sustainable food & feed production through insects. Since then he has served as BetterOrigin’ scientific lead, directing the company’s R&D division.
