BIO

Leonardo is Junior Lecturer of Information System at SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is Director of the courses “Blockchain and Cryptoassets” and “Bitcoin and Blockchain Fundamentals” at Bocconi University. At SDA Bocconi, he is coordinator of the blockchain research stream at the “Digital Enterprise Value and Organization” Lab (DEVO Lab) and lecturer of Bitcoin and Blockchain within the MBA, EMBA, EMBAWE, MFB, MISA, MEBI, to name a few. He is Program Director of the international online program "The Blockchain Journey. Debunking myths to manage a new business paradigm”. He participated at many “tailored researches” with companies in the financial sector – among which two annual researches with CRIF, a global company specializing in credit bureau and business information, outsourcing and processing services, and credit solutions. In 2020, he received the annual Teaching Award for innovation for the online course on Blockchain.

EXPERIENCE

Leonardo's research activities focus on how new technologies – especially Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence – can enable new forms of organizations and new value streams. Currently, he is working with the Design Lab of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on the identification and assessment of high impact digital technologies. He is author of several international academic papers, books and reports.
