Dr. Harry HoffmannBIOHarry works as a project manager in the “Politics and External Relations” department of the not-for-profit "Deutsche Welthungerhilfe" (World Hunger Help) in Berlin. As a doctor of agricultural science, he has been published in well-known specialist journals, but his particular area of interest is the political work needed to overcome hunger and malnutrition globally permanently. When he finds the time, he enjoys travelling and hiking.EXPERIENCEHarry studied geography at the University of Bonn and received his doctorate on traditional bioenergy supply in East Africa at the Humboldt University in Berlin. During his doctorate, he was a visiting researcher at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in Washington, DC. He also worked as a consultant for the World Bank and the German Institute for Development Policy (DIE).
