Christiane Meister-MathieuBIOChristiane is a science journalist who is also passionate about telling culinary stories - from freshly harvested carrots to avant-garde cuisine. Almost the whole world can be described through the way we eat, Christiane is firmly convinced of. Because food affects our lives in many ways. It is politics, passion, history and culture.EXPERIENCEChristiane was able to combine her enthusiasm for natural sciences and words in her studies - she studied science journalism at TU Dortmund University. During a semester abroad at Charles University in Prague, she also took the time to become more involved with European history and politics. After a traineeship at ZDF, she started working as a freelance journalist. Christiane considers it a great enrichment to keep getting to know new worlds of life and thought thanks to her work. This also includes the world of culinary arts. To quench her thirst for knowledge a little, she has undergone further training on the subject of wine (WSET Level 2 and 3), not only training her senses and aromatic understanding, but also learning a lot about agriculture.
