Annabel Slater is a freelance writer particularly interested in science, genetics and microbiology, as well as an occasional artist, filmmaker and animator. 

Experience

She has been an editor of BioNews and Science for Environment Policy, a resident artist for the Schmidt Ocean Institute, a BBC researcher and science story writer. She also works in science visualisation and animation at the University of Glasgow.
